If I am approved, how long does it typically take to receive an answer on my application?

ANSWER:

The Florida Veterans Foundation works as quickly as possible but please allow at least one week for your application to be reviewed and processed.

Will someone contact me if additional information is needed?

ANSWER:

Yes, you will be contacted by phone or email if we need more information or documents.

 


Question:

What kind of support does the Florida Veterans Foundation provide?

ANSWER:

The FVF primarily provides assistance with emergency shelter, monthly rent or rental deposits, and utility bills. Veterans will only receive one onetime financial aid grant unless there are compelling reasons to do otherwise.  The FVF will not pay for car repairs or loans, insurance of any kind, cell phone or cable bills, college loans, property taxes, late fees, home repairs, and bills in the name of anyone other than the veteran.


Question:

Will the Florida Veterans Foundation make a partial payment towards my debt?

ANSWER:

No, the FVF will not make any payment that will not completely solve the situation at hand.
